She's recorded a variety of well-known cover songs, including Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised. Katy Perry's endorsement of the song Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's acknowledgement. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano that was in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her the possibilities it offered. The parents of her May-Britt family as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for a career or hobby but as a way to develop. Her parents advised her to compose. She acknowledges Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as being her influences. When her mother told her that the songs she composed could be used to not make her famous however, but to encourage people to realize the importance of their work and influence to the world, she began playing them on stage. The mother of her child suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order so that people can see their importance and the ways they impact the world. Her family didn't be aware until 14. Aurora has never imagined being famous. Her only passion is to compose music. Music to her is the most effective method to experience anything.
